Quick response department specialist

Purpose of the job:

In case of a change in the situation in any of the protected facilities, immediate visit in order to strengthen the service, or implementation of other problems according to the requirements of the company’s regulations.

Responsibilities:

• The round-the-clock duty of the Company’s “Management Center” is organized by the specialists of the Rapid Response Department.
• The company can enhance facility security by involving specialists from the Rapid Response Department.
• The company can use Rapid Response Department specialists to check on security guard services provided to other organizations and other measures of a similar nature.
• When taking over the guard post, check the security, alarm, and fire systems, fire equipment, property, documents and everything required with the previous duty officer. Report everything to the shift senior.
• Perform the service energetically and attentively to be competent.
• BBe responsible for protecting the facility and managing access control.
• Perform your duties carefully, protect the facility and its resources, monitor people entering and leaving, check their documents, register everything, and report to the shift senior.
• Be able to use the fire and other technical means available in the protection area.
• If you see someone acting suspiciously, report it to your shift senior right away and take steps to keep them out of the area. Follow legal procedures to stop them from causing trouble.
• As soon as you getting a security alert, tell your shift senior and deal with the issue right away without leaving your post.
• Follow the orders of your shift senior or the facility manager regarding security.
• Be disciplined during the service, maintain the rules of hygiene and cleanliness at the place of service.
• Undergo mandatory training at least every three years.

The specialist of the Rapid Response Department is also obliged to:

• Based on the nature of the harassment, strive to minimize the harm caused to the person who committed the harassment.
• If necessary, immediately provide first aid by reporting to the shift leader.
• In case of bodily injury or death caused to a person by the use of physical force, special means, or firearms, immediately inform the shift senior.
• Be guided by the RA Law “On Private Security Guard Activity”, bearing the rights and responsibilities arising from it.
• While performing his duties, the Specialists of Rapid Response Department have the right to use physical force, weapons, special or technical equipment only in the conditions of necessary protection and extreme necessity, as well as when neutralizing the person who committed the harassment, in the cases and in the order provided by the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Private Security Guard Activity”.
• The use of physical force, special means, or firearms by the Security Guard in cases not provided by the law or when crossing the borders holds them accountable by the law.

Security officer

Purpose of the job:

Supervise the security guard group on duty in the protected area and protect the entrusted facility or area together.

Responsibilities:

• Organize the service, and take control of the activities carried out by the security guards.
• Review discipline and security guard service every quarter and report to company management as soon as summarizing the state of services and the results.
• Take measures to prevent crimes and accidents, to increase vigilance and to maintain the principles of confidentiality, and if necessary contact the head of the operational department.
• Maintain close contact with the management bodies of the given facility, together solve all the necessary issues related to the security guard service, holding of civil, events, as well as the necessary issues of meeting of requirements.
• Not less than once a month check the correct implementation of the disciplinary norms and services of the security guard group.
• Organize mass protection of the facility, as well as fire protection and monitor the course of actions of the security guard team in given situations.
• Present the fire protection plan, as well as the project of measures to cooperate with the civil defense in case of declaring a state of emergency.
• Implement the necessary tools in order to eliminate the consequences of accidents and natural disasters and to help the affected population.
• When performing professional duties, be guided by the RA Law “On Private Security Guard Activities” and other relevant legal acts.

Security guard

• Follow the orders of your shift senior or the facility manager regarding security.
